meet jeff & ashley. we had planned their engagement session for january sixth, until we realized it was going to be THE coldest day in over twenty years in pennsylvania. we tossed around some other dates, but saturday ended up working best for all of our schedules so we decided to go for it! these guys were troopers. they knew they wanted to do part of their session at marsh creek, a special place to both of them, but we also knew we wouldn’t survive 90 minutes outside. so, we warmed up beforehand at wellington square bookshop, which has always been a favorite of mine. we popped in and out of the store every few minutes for some outdoor shots and then bundled up for marsh creek-where we learned was completely frozen and made for some amazing photos out on the ice! thank you so much jeff & ashley, for braving the cold and choosing us to capture this special time for the two of you. we cannot wait for your WARM wedding this summer 🙂
